The December 7 First-Friday Dance at Grand Haven’s D&W Fresh Market will run from 7-10 p.m. and will feature Butch Grenell and Unbreakable Pride.

The dance will be held in the store’s café area with spillover dancing in the aisles.

The group includes Butch Grenell on bass guitar and vocals, Buzz Spier, lead guitar, and Leroy Golden, pedal steel guitar. And while Country is their mainstay they also do gospel and some rock. Grenell is a come-back player: he’d played extensively when younger, set it asidem and only a few years ago came back to it with the help and urging of fellow musician Woody Woodrum of Silverado (another regular First-Friday entertainer).

Last month’s dance brought in $622.
