For Love of The Sally–Paul Hebert and Friends
December 19, 2018 @ 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM
DonationNow in its ninth year a wide variety of area and regional musicians will perform in their concert series “For Love of the Sally” at Grand Haven’s D&W Fresh Market. The concerts are to raise funds for the efforts of The Salvation Army in the Tri Cities area.
Pianist Paul Hebert was born in southern England. After coming to the States he joined the Army where he met his wife, Grand Haven native Sarah (George) Hebert. Both served as musicians (she plays oboe) and both ultimately retired from the service. They relocated from Virginia to her hometown of Grand Haven in 2015. This marks his premier performance in his new hometown.
Many of the musical performers—all volunteers who have offered their time and talents—are returning for yet another year of concerts. There also are several new acts. Last year area music lovers and supporters of The Salvation Army donated more than 23-hundred dollars during the concerts at D&W.
All proceeds go to The Salvation Army and all concerts are in the store’s café area.
The Grand Haven D&W Fresh Market is at 1116 Robbins Road. The Salvation Army has been active in Grand Haven since 1922. The Salvation Army facility is at 310 North DeSpelder. The phone number is 616.842.3380.
